After much stitching, unpicking, pressing and re stitching, I have at last turned my strips of triangles into a Thousand Pyramid quilt, a very old design. Some of the points are not lined up perfectly, but I am pretty happy overall.
Now I am looking forward to going to the annual Quilt and Craft Show on Wednesday, when I intend to buy myself a mini steam iron to press all seams, and believe me, there are a lot!
Next thing to think about is a border……
Thank you for letting me know! There was an error with pre-scheduling so people who receive notifications via email will have seen the posts but can’t like or comment just yet, as they shouldn’t be on till Friday and Saturday. Stupid phone…can’t tell days of the week…Thank you for telling me and I hope you’ll still like them on Friday and Saturday..lol!

Looks great, but a huge amount of work.I reckon you have earned the iron, but can’t you think of anything more exciting. Enjoy the craft show.

Thanks Jen. Is it sad that I am looking forward to buying a little iron at the quilt show? Yeah, guess so, but don’t worry, I’ll be looking for any other gadgets I don’t already have and I will be topping up my fabric stash as well!

I’ll be interested to see 🙂 The biggest piece of quilting I did was enough for a …pencil case! Lol!

Well, we all have to start somewhere and pencil cases are very popular right now. I was thinking about making one myself … maybe I can check with you for some tips?
