I love crafts, cooking, gardening and my home.  My mother taught me to knit, sew and crochet at a very young age and I’ve been crafting ever since. I am inspired by so many interesting blogs and all the talented people I come into contact with through classes, You Tube, craft stores and exhibitions.  I wish I had their imagination; unfortunately not, however I am very good at following a recipe or pattern!

When I am not crafting I am passionate not only about my own two adorable cats, Samurai and Mischa, but about doing my bit to try to put an end to animal cruelty, such as factory farming, rodeos, animal testing for cosmetics and bear baiting.  Live animal export from Australia is another issue – where does it end?  In the words of Albert Einstein “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing“.

I also like to read, both fiction and true stories.  My favourite authors (currently) are Anne Rule and Jodie Picoult.

My husband and I love travelling and have been on 8 cruises so far. This is our favourite way to relax and see the world.
