It’s been far too long since my last post, but I have been away without access to the internet ….. now I am back!

Some exciting things have happened in the last month or so since we returned from our cruise around the world, starting with a very relaxing few weeks house/pet-sitting for my daughter’s two dogs and two cats at her property about an hour’s drive out of town. Lots of room to walk the dogs and feed kookaburras who were so tame they could be hand fed on the verandah every day.

We liked it so much we looked around the general area last weekend and bought a house! There is still a building and pest inspection to go, but don’t see any problems there. So busy times ahead as we wait for settlement, get ready for Christmas and think about moving “to the country” maybe mid January and prepare our home for renting out.
