To complete our little fur family, there is my sweet Mischa. She keeps Samurai in line and gives him some exercise by chasing him around the house ignoring his protesting hisses and growls. But he loves her and I often see them licking each other’s faces. Even though she is smaller, she is the boss and it only takes a look for Samurai to move off the mat if Mischa wants it to herself. Mischa is a one person cat – and she is my shadow. She puts up with occasional cuddle but much prefers to jump up on my knee for a little while or to lie on the mat near me and sleep while I sew or blog or watch television. I am touched by her affectionate nature and I think it is a wonderful thing to have an animal’s complete trust.
